1. Description of Multimodal Route planner Mobigo !

Mobigo is a Multimodal Route Planner. The site is a multimodal information service for transport in Burgundy.

Offering the whole mobility service in Burgundy and beyond:

  • Public transport (departmental coach, TER train, urban bus, tramway-busway, touristic shuttle, transport on demand), green transportation (bicycle) and alternative modes (car sharing, carpooling,...) and also taxis, air mode and mobility plateforms.
  • For casual ou touristic trip, as well as regular trip

Available in both French and English and accessible to anyone, Mobigo is easy to use. It has been made in a participative way offering interactivity with social networks, collecting information, many possibilities of participation for citizens and users.

2. Types of content

• The transport database which is used for route planning (choosing routes, proposing timings, managing connections, calculating walking time, etc.). This content is managed by the NAViTiA software package developed by Canal TP.
• The editorial content, i.e. the pages presenting the partners, services or latest information… This content is managed by the Open Source EzPublish software package.

3. Protection of personal details

As the contracting client for the Burgundy Multimodal Information System -SIM-, the Burgundy Regional Council is providing users with a tool that aims to make it easier for them to travel within Burgundy, whichever means of transport or carrier they choose to use.

The Burgundy Regional Council declares that it has all the legal and administrative authorisations required for running the website and its services.

The information communicated by the user via the contact form is collected for the sole purpose of enabling Internet users to benefit from the online services offered by the site (favourite journeys, email alerts, RSS streaming, etc.) and site administrators to provide answers to their requests for further information and comments or suggestions concerning the functioning or content of this website. This information is kept in accordance with the conditions stipulated in the declaration lodged by the Burgundy Regional Council with the “Commission Nationale Informatique and Liberté” (CNIL) (France’s Data Protection watchdog).

Personal details are read only by:
  - Canal TP’s data administrators,
 - The Burgundy Regional Council webmaster

However, special requests from users may be passed on to the Transport Organising Authorities who are partners to the Mobigo ! Multimodal Route Planner project and their network operators, only if, following an analysis by the above-mentioned administrator:
 - The requests concern services that fall within the remit of these third parties;
 - They require a detailed technical response.
 -It proved impossible to reformulate them anonymously.
Apart from the above, the information collected will not be passed on to third parties, either free or in return for payment.

In application of articles 39 and 40 of the “Loi informatique et libertés” (French Data Protection Act) of 6 January 1978, amended in 2004, you have the right to access and correct any information concerning you. You may exercise this right by contacting the Burgundy Regional Council.

7. Technical description

This Site has been developed, using the NAViTiA solution, by Canal TP, a simplified joint stock company, registered in the Business and Companies' Register, Paris, under number B 439 506 080 and whose registered office is at 20 Boulevard Poniatowski, 75012 Paris (Telephone: 01 78 16 43 40).

8. Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a Web analysis service provided by Google Inc.
Google Analytics uses cookies – text files placed on your computer – which are used to analyse the way in which users use the site. The information generated by the cookie concerning your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transferred and stored by Google on its servers in the United States. Google undertakes not to associate your IP address with other data held by Google. You may refuse to accept cookies in your browser, but this may mean that you will be unable to use all the site’s functionalities. By using this website, you agree to allow Google to process any data concerning you in the way and for the purposes described above.

“Public” or “official” documents are not covered by any form of copyright (article L.122-5 of the French Intellectual Property Regulations) and may therefore be freely reproduced.
 The information may only be used for personal, associative or professional purposes; any form of use for commercial or advertising purposes is strictly prohibited.
 The reproduction of documents in paper or electronic format must be in line with the following guidelines:

10. Setting up links towards Mobigo !

The website authorises the setting-up of hypertext links directing users towards its pages, subject to the following:

  • the “deep linking” technique must not be used, i.e. pages of this site must not be embedded inside the pages of another site, but must be viewed by opening a separate window,
  • the source that uses a hypertext link to direct users to the content must be stated.

The information may be used only for personal, educational, associative or professional purposes; any form of use for commercial or advertising purposes is prohibited.

11. Liability

Despite every care taken in maintaining the integrity of the official documents placed online, it is not possible to totally avoid accidental modifications.
 The only official value and aim of the editorial texts is to present the multimodal information service for public transport in Burgundy and make it easier for users to access the site content.
 Links to other private or official, French or foreign sites are proposed.

The Burgundy Regional Council and its institutional partners associated with the website project for the multimodal route planner in Burgundy may in no circumstances be held liable for their content and only aim to make it easier for Internet users to access document resources relating to the subject they have consulted.

The Burgundy Regional Council may not be held liable for any damage, direct or indirect, arising out of the use of the website or other sites linked to it, due in particular to a failure to access the site, problems linked to the Internet network, or an interruption to the service for the purposes of maintenance or updating.
Visitors to the site are responsible for taking all suitable steps to protect their own data and/or software from contamination by any viruses circulating on the Internet network.

The editorial team reserves the right, in strict compliance with the laws in force, to modify or correct the content of the site and these legal notices at any time without notice.

Electronic messages sent to the editorial team responsible for managing and operating the site, and email addresses, are kept only for the time it takes to process them.
